        The Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of California, Riverside

seeks outstanding applicants for several part time non-tenure track Lecturers in

undergraduate courses.

        A MS degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of

engineering is required. Applicants are expected to be excellent and innovative in teaching,

preferably with industrial experiences, along with strong interpersonal, writing and

computer skills.

        Salary will be competitive and commensurate with background, experience and

qualifications, based on University of California pay scale.

        Applicants should send a detailed resume or curriculum vitae, previous teaching

evaluations, syllabi of courses previously taught, and a list of three references with contact

information including mailing address, phone number and e-mail address. The applicants

should also list the ME courses at UCR that they feel comfortable in teaching. Applicants

are welcome to include in their cover letters a personal statement summarizing their
