Advanced Robotics and Machine Design Research

Advanced robotics and machine design research focuses on the development of systematic methodologies for the creation, analysis, and design of novel mechanical devices, robot manipulators, and electro-mechanical systems. Both theoretical and experimental research is conducted. Current research projects include:

  • Kinematic synthesis of parallel manipulators.
  • Development of a novel parallel hybrid transmission.
  • Modeling of flexible spatial micromanipulators.
  • Development of a novel hybrid machine tool.
