Wang Chongyang (Deng Kui) leaves Xiamen for Hangzhou, in order to escape from a heartrending love. Her lover got married, but the bride was not her. When she works part-time in the bar on campus, she meets a group of people. By talking to them, she gradually understands their life and affections, and finally walks into their world....
The story is based on the celebrated Hong Kong movie Ashes of Time (东邪西毒) by Wong Kar-Wai (王家卫). Different from Ashes of Time, however, it is a modern story on campus life.
